Love is something that motivates and inspires us here at Two Bright Lights to share beautiful stories and amazing photography every day. Over time, many tales of first blossoming romance have come our way, but today’s feature, starring Andrea and Zach, will go down in our books as one of our favorites yet. Why is that exactly? Well, this love story begins with a sticky note and brings us to this charming, rustic-inspired engagement session by Elevate Photography! Here’s how:
In January of 2011, Andrea had just relocated to Denver on a new career journey as a property assistant. On her introductory tour around the new office, she was introduced to Zach, who also worked for the company as a building engineer. After that initial meeting, Andrea began to notice that he started to find a lot of reasons to come visit her office and talk for a while. After some time, Andrea realized that the new job wasn’t for her, put in her two weeks notice and prepared to search for something new. Zach realized that he had feelings Andrea and his chance to ask her out was going to come to an end soon. Walking into her office the Friday before the local Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, he casually made small talk about the parade and eventually asked if she would be going. Andrea explained that she would be going with a few friends and Zach seized the opportunity in the most adorable and lovingly awkward way possible — he wrote his number down on a pink sticky note, haphazardly slapped it down on her desk, gave her instructions to call him and quickly walked out of the room.
A lot of texts and great dates followed and the rest, as they say, is all history!
Congratulations, Andrea and Zach! Thank you Elevate Photography for another fabulous session!
