For photographer Nichole Taylor, sending items to the landfill should not happen – especially if they can be ‘up-cycled’! That is where her inspiration for this styled garden party stemmed from. Nichole Taylor Photography and event designer Discarded Couture styled this shoot using decorations that were mostly up-cycled or handmade, which contributed to the party’s rustic outdoor look. The models were dressed in flowing white dresses with either bare feet or cowboy boots, and they looked adorable carrying (and wearing!) flowers designed by Platinum Floral Designs. The flowers were bright, colorful and happy, and they added a fun pop of color to the white outfits. They all looked beautiful with their hair and make up styled by Beauty & Style by Erin Bradley. Nichole used a lot of wood in this photo shoot; from old wood floors and exposed wood beams to wooden dressers and furniture, the collection of decorations created an inspiring and scenic party. After taking some photos in the beautifully decorated room, the photographer and models ventured outdoors to play and pose with the gorgeous horses and farm scenery. Here, Nichole Taylor Photography was able to play with natural lighting to make this styled shoot as DIY as possible. They also posed for pictures around the woods, where Nichole incorporated trees and small ponds into the photos, which enhanced the rustic and garden themes of the party. Every aspect of this styled shoot was an important element in creating this beautiful session, and Nichole Taylor of Nichole Taylor Photography and Discarded Couture did a fantastic job at styling and inspiring such an amazing and original shoot!
