When these two first met in high school, he was dating her friend. But, fate was determined to have its way and Hannah and Brad eventually started seeing each other in college. Much like their high school years though, this part of their relationship was also not any easy one as they spent three long years apart as a long-distance couple. At the end of that third year, they decided it was time to finally be together in person, so Hannah packed up her bags, moved to Tennessee, and began house hunting with Brad. After a few weeks of searching, they finally found the one; the home of their dreams. You probably know what comes next, right? They buy the house, surely? Well, yes, but Brad had a special trick up his sleeve. Valentine’s Day evening Brad took Hannah to the house they’d picked out together and started off their romantic evening by telling her that he desired with all this heart to raise their future children together in the home where they stood. Then, Hannah got the shock of a lifetime when he dropped to one knee and asked her to be his wife (and explained that he’d bought the house for them, too!). Of course, she couldn’t refuse and said, “yes!” But this story doesn’t end here…below you’ll find their beautiful engagement shoot captured by Kelly Broyles Photography at the West Virginia State Capitol and the surrounding downtown area. Full of super cute outfits (that black lace dress has us swooning!) and one precious little pup — it’s definitely a shoot you don’t want to miss!
Such a sweet day exploring downtown West Virginia!
