“Geoff and I met during our sophomore year in college at Arizona State University,” shared bride-to-be Christina, “We hung out in the same group of friends, but it took a couple of months for our relationship to flourish.” Five years later, Geoff dropped down to one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. They’re busily preparing for their upcoming destination wedding in Cancun, but they took some time out of their planning for engagement portraits with Elizabeth Burgi Photography. Focusing on simplistic and quiet moments together, they headed out to the California countryside. Their portraits began at a forested area with speckled sunlight where they could wander together down quaint dirt trails. For this part of the shoot, Christina wore a romantic white maxi dress and Geoff wore jeans and a casual blue tee; the colors of which really made the duo stand out against the green and golden backdrop. Next up, they changed into fun, dressy outfits and headed to the grassy hills for some shots with the sunset. She donned a darling crop top and A-line skirt and he swapped his casual clothes for dress khakis and a white button down. The setting was magical every step of the way, and so was the romance between the sweethearts!
