Every year, the Riverside Community Girl Scouts of Harlem, NY host a breakfast with Santa for all of the children in the community. This year was extra special — the 25th annual Santa breakfast! Marisa Flores, of House of Flores and a one-time scout herself, organized an extra special event to mark the big milestone. Along with Yanqi Chang Photography, Marisa gathered together a group of colleagues to create a truly magical event for these sweet kids. House of Flores, Ilene Miriam Pastry Studio, and Noirstyle Invites came together to create a splendid, Frozen-inspired, Santa Wonderland, decorated in frosty blues, white, and silver. Along with the free breakfast, there were cupcakes galore, candy, and other sweets for the kids to indulge. The kids were also treated to a Santa sing-a-long, The Night Before Christmas, as read by Santa, games, and face-painting! And, of course, the kids had their pictures taken with Santa, by Yanqi Chang Photography. Marisa and her colleagues truly created an event to remember for these kids, in addition to helping the Riverside Community Girl Scouts learn new skills, and earn their community service badges. What a truly wonderful day this was!
