Styled Shoot: India meets the Pacific North West

There are fewer sights more beautiful than that of a traditional Indian bride. I love a traditional Indian wedding, so seeing this styled shoot about took my breath away! Luma Weddings worked with Supernova Enterprises and Aakanksha Gavali to bring a little bit of authentic Indian culture to the Pacific North West! Of course, they got a bit of help from the weather; the sun ended up shining through the clouds at the usually rainy Plymouth Pillars Park of Washington. The leafy, green backdrop and Roman styled columns provided a visually fascinating contrast to Aakanksha’s intricate, all-blue ensemble. She wore a traditional lengha, as well as the traditional bridal accessories adorning her arms, around her neck, over her ears and hair. Much of the jewelry included blue detailing, and her eyeshadow matched everything perfectly! Luma Weddings & the crew achieved what they set out to create – a magical day to remember!
