What a breathtaking location for a wedding! High atop the cliffs on the Isle of Skye, Natalie & Ross exchanged vows with only their officiant and Lynne Kennedy Photography in their presence. Scotland is a gorgeous country, and the jagged, plunging cliffs create a sharp contrast against the blue sky, and the frigid ocean below. But, Natalie & Ross are both Americans, and they traveled all the way from Texas for this scenery. They had not initially planned to get married in Skye, but had simply planned a vacation. However, they saw a Scottish wedding on a blog one day, and decided that an elopement in this gorgeous country was the way to go! Maybe their big day will even inspire another couple to tie the knot in Scotland! And who could blame them? Their elopement was simple, and yet incredible. March can be a cool time of year in the Highlands, so Natalie accessorized her lace and tulle gown with a luxurious, white fur stole to chase away the chill. Naturally, the venue required no additional decor, and the ruined castle near by provided Lynne Kennedy Photography with some different backdrops for Natalie & Ross’s newlywed portraits. Everything turned out perfectly!
