Engagement Shoot: When Seasons Collide

This engagement shoot by Jenelle Kappe Photography may have forced out the adventurous side of Chris and Lauren, but the end result was more than worth it!  Winter came early this year when a freak snow storm unexpectedly struck Mountainside, New Jersey, in the middle of fall.  While most people sat inside by the warmth of the wood burning in their fireplace, Jenelle called up the couple and challenged them to an early morning session.  “When do we ever have glistening fall colored trees adorned with snow,” says Jenelle, who had a vision.  Lucky for her, the couple went along with the plan.  The result?  Something not many people get to see– the beautiful collision of fall and winter.

“Are all your engagement sessions always this adventurous?” asked Lauren.  “No, this is a first” replied Jenelle.  “But I promise it [was] totally worth it!”
