Happy Meet Our Members On Monday! We felt we had been neglecting our beloved editorial partners, so we are excited to shine the spotlight on editor Michelle of Trendy Bride! She is a full time wedding photographer who possesses a true passion for the industry, which she demonstrates through her great work and stylish blog. She’s got another exciting project in the works, as well!
Introducing Michelle of Trendy Bride!
Please tell us a little about Trendy Bride. What inspired you to start a blog?
As a wedding photographer, I have come to really love weddings. I wanted to create a blog to inspire brides to have the wedding of their dreams. At first, I started out just featuring weddings in North Carolina, but over time my blog has evolved to feature weddings and styled shoots from all over the world.
How would you describe the style of Trendy Bride? What types of submissions are you looking to receive through Two Bright Lights?
We love anything that is not run of the mill. We want to help brides to think outside of the box. We love weddings that are unique either by venue choice or by theme. Our favorite types of weddings are outdoors and ones filled with beautiful details. We also look for beautiful photography. Ultimately, we welcome all types of weddings!
We understand that you are launching Trendy Bride magazine this fall! What can we expect to see in your new publication?
More beautiful weddings and inspiration shoots! We want to create a magazine full of fashion, real weddings, and more. Lots of pretty pictures!
Share a little about yourself! How did you get started in the wedding industry?
I am a full time wedding photographer and I’ve been in the industry for over 6 years. It’s such a blessing to photograph weddings for a living. First, I started my own company shooting fashion and nature. Later I included weddings, and it was such a natural transition. I love working in the industry!
Who or what inspires you?
I am inspired by everything! Colors, locations, people, love and just life. I wake up everyday with new inspiration. Most of all, I am inspired by my family and God. They give me the drive to dream more.
Thank you Michelle, we are so looking forward to your new publication in the fall!
