Never underestimate the power of online dating. Although it may not be the “traditional” way to meet someone, more and more people have taken to dating websites over the years. This special couple was one of the lucky ones. Erica, who was attending Georgetown University for her MBA at the time, made a pact with her best friend that they would both give virtual matchmaking a try. Not knowing what to expect, she signed herself up and decided to let fate take care of the rest. Little did she know, her future husband was only a click away! One thing led to another– Erica met Doug, and instantly fell in love. Her friends knew her online match must be special, because Erica, normally more cautious and reserved, took the plunge and visited Doug’s parents in Russia with him, only two months after they met! A little over a year later, Doug proposed to Erica in Roosevelt Park in Arlington, Virginia. Their wedding was elegant and traditional. They got married at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Georgetown, followed by a simply beautiful reception at the Daughter’s of the American Revolution headquarters in Washington D.C. The beautiful night was all cheers and dancing, as the couple celebrated with their closest friends and family. We are so happy True Story Studios could be there to capture this special day!
Thank you so much for sharing, True Story Studios!
