This traditional wedding day held at the old chapel at Hamilton College in New York was the culmination of intensive planning and the outcome was incredible! Paige Overturf Photography captured every detail and special moment of a beautiful ceremony and reception that united bride Khrstyne and groom Nicholas in marriage. Not only did the planning of this day result in gorgeous decor, but also some spectacular personal moments! The bride and groom chose to incorporate friends and family in each part of their big day as the musicians, photographer, wedding coordinator and the officiator was even the groom’s father! Khrstyne had a friend style her hair and makeup, and another friend altered her dress, too. From the many flowered bouquets and centerpieces to the signs and the balloons, this couple really did think of everything! Cute handmade signs directed attendees where to find different areas of the wedding, including the guestbook, which happened to be a journaling Bible where guests could sign little notes next to passages or verses that were especially meaningful. Now, the couple enjoys stumbling upon the notes and being reminded of the very special wedding day they celebrated. Guests enjoyed a variety of delectable dishes prepared by Serendipity Catering that included sliders, among other delicious bites. One of the most personal and special moments of the day, was when bride Khrstyne and her father performed a surprise father-daughter duet on the piano rather than sharing the traditional father-daughter dance. The song was Nicholas’s favorite and Khrstyne said “it was a surprise for my husband and definitely one of his favorite things during the wedding.” Thank you to Paige Overturf Photography for capturing the special love and emotions clearly felt by everyone throughout this day.
Congratulations Nicholas and Khrstyne and thank you Paige Overturf Photography for sharing these amazing photographs!
