With a military deployment looming, Ally and Nick had to pull together their wedding day in a snap before he left the country. This mad rush to say “I do” before he said “goodbye” unfortunately left them with wedding photos that they didn’t feel accurately represented themselves and their love. Thankfully, a dear friend of Nick’s — the wonderful Denise Burridge Photography — was there to pull together a magical styled shoot . Gifting the newlyweds with a “day after the wedding” photo session, Denise quickly reached out to some talented local Las Vegas vendors and went to work on creating special and meaningful props for Ally and Nick’s shoot. Joan of Freed’s Bakery created the perfect white cake, Veronica of Nostalgia Resources brought in vintage items, and Shandell of Makeup by Shandell gave Ally a stunning makeup look. We must say, everything came together just perfectly. On top of these incredible contributions, the setting was also laden with details that spoke to the couple’s personality in discreet and sentimental ways. The red, white and blue accents and the inclusion of an American flag subtly gave a nod to the duo’s patriotism, and the green Barefoot wine shared by Ally and Nick during their desert picnic alluded to Nick’s service as a pararescueman, known symbolically as the “green feet.” We know they’ll adore these magical photos for years to come!
We could not be more thrilled that Ally and Nick got the special photos they deserved.
