“…Baby we were born to run!” For some, the 1960s and 1970s were times that revolved around hot cars and even hotter girls. Classic American muscle cars were more than just vehicles, they were statements to represent the men and women who drove around them during those decades. Professional pinup models Gloria, Melanie, Allison, Jenna, Nissa and Nichole channel that attitude and had a blast during this photo shoot by Kate Broderick Photography where they got to show off their sassy side while posing with the “chrome wheel fuel injected” old-fashioned Hot Rods such as the classic and iconic Chevelle and Mustang. Being beautifully kept and restored, these cars once “sprung from cages on highway 9,” but today returned from Massachusetts and Connecticut to be awesome props in this fun and exciting shoot! These professional pinup models specialize in donning vintage inspired fashions and styles like the classic stripes and bustier outfits seen in this shoot. Their hairstyles pay homage to not only the culture of the decades, but also the styles of the famous pinup models like Rita Hayworth, Greta Garbo, and Marilyn Monroe. No fashion shoot with this theme would be complete without a cameo appearance by none other than the legendary Betty Boop. Mag wheels, chrome fenders, pinstripes, and pinups – the days of old have been brought back to life thanks to this fashion shoot by Kate Broderick Photography.
Thank you Kate Broderick Photography for sharing these great photographs, and thank you to my favorite musician Bruce Springsteen for the lyrical inspiration in this post.
