It’s not every day that your baby girl turns two, so a milestone like this certainly requires celebration. That’s exactly what the Millers had in mind when they called up Anna LaBenz Photography and set up a shoot to take place during a fun-filled day on the town for their daughter Maddie’s birthday. Gussying her up in a polka dot print dress and a red turtleneck, they set out for the downtown area with a whole bundle of balloons and began their day by exploring different little spots around downtown Flagstaff and enjoying the fabulous weather. Next up, another of the birthday girl’s most-loved activities made an appearance… coloring! Given a white paper backdrop and a whole handful of bright markers, she set out on creating a wonderful world of color with her mom and dad by her side. But this incredible day wasn’t over yet because mom and dad had one more special surprise waiting for their darling little one. Cake, of course! Changing Maddie into a precious pink smock dress made especially for the festivities and sitting her into a vintage highchair that’s been a part of the Miller family line for almost 70 years (awesome, right?), mom and dad closed their unique happy birthday adventure by presenting Maddie with a huge vanilla cupcake topped with cream icing and a pink candle. The big smile and the icing that covered Maddie’s face definitely convey that this scrumptious birthday treat was just the right way to top off this big moment in the life of their little girl!
Who’s ready for some cake? Thanks Anna LaBenz Photography for sharing this shoot with us!
