The details that fill this California wedding by Aga Jones Photography are the epitome of luxe and sophistication. So, when we read the little note from the photographer herself saying that “most details were DIY by bride and groom” our jaws hit the floor. Surely, there was no way that Mr. and Mrs. pulled off a soiree this stunning without an army of talented wedding vendors, right? Wrong, Valeria and William truly are just that creative and resourceful, and teaming up with Events By Brittany Blain was pure magic. Selecting a private residence as the backdrop for their stunning celebration, the couple made a fabulous decision right from the start; the rustic-meets-glamour aesthetic perfectly laid the foundation for the overall desert-chic feel of the day. Then, to complete the look, Valeria and William chose timelessly elegant white florals and unique rustic decor pieces to fill the ceremony and reception with reflections of their personal style. For the ceremony, the bride and groom brought in black chiavari chairs, a golden aisle runner with a signature monogram, and old crates topped with tall vases of white floral arrangements. Following the vow exchange and the cocktail hour, friends and family were directed to the same room where the ceremony occurred, but this time, the atmosphere had a more homey feel. As guests walked in, they were immediately greeted by a vintage bathtub filled to the brim with booze selections and a rustic-inspired barrel table displayed with mason jars and DIY chalkboard signs — one sign highlighted the drink menu and the other directed each guest to grab a mason jar from the table to use as their cup for the evening! Before the grand fireplace, where the vow exchange took place earlier in the day, now sat an adorable sweetheart table prepared for the bride and groom. Along the edges of the room (to leave plenty of space for dancing in the middle of the room!), round tables were set for guests with gold place settings and baby’s breath centerpieces. And, as if this fête couldn’t get any sweeter, a cupcake display from The Cupcake Store and a candy favor bar were in place up for guests to grab one last treat before they bid the darling couple adieu! But, that isn’t all — this wedding features the most romantic set of bride and groom portraits that we have ever seen, too. None of our words will do it the justice it deserves, so we’ll have to let you see it with your own eyes…
Aren’t Valeria and William just beautiful together?!
