Tania and Kiran’s destination wedding was held in the heart of New Orleans French Quarter. It was the perfect setting for this traveling duo as Tania’s family had moved there several years ago and the couple loved that the French Quarter is a hub of rich beauty, mysticism and history. IJ Photo captured the couple strolling through haunted hotels and significant French Quarter historical landmarks for a fun pre-wedding portrait session. During the ceremony, there was a great celebration of Indian culture as Tania wore a traditional sari with stunning embroidery and beaded detail, ceremonial gold bangles, and a bindi. The most noteworthy traditional accessory that the bride displayed were the gorgeous and highly intricate Mehndi, or Henna, tattoo designs on her hands and feet. The theme for this couple’s wedding was “Oh the Places You’ll Go” by Dr. Seuss, a tribute to Tania and Kiran as travelers (having lived in Chicago and New York, among other cities, before finally settling in Seattle) and they incorporated this theme with display placards with all the places the two have been together. How sweet! Travel partners for life, these two are definitely going to be exploring the world together!

Safe travels to the both of you! Thank you IJ Photo for sharing with us!
