While most people hope to land a new job after the jumping through the hoops of a job interview, Paras and Andy found true love instead. Hitting it off right away, Paras and Andy went on to date, fall deeply in love and finally say, “I do.” And what a gorgeous wedding day it was! Set at the Peabody Essex Museum in Massachusetts, their celebration, documented by Nicole Chan Photography, was an ideal merger of modern details and tradition (inspired by Paras’s Iranian roots). Their ceremony is a perfect example of how effortlessly they blended together their two backgrounds and these two focuses. Bride Paras stepped out in a stunning strapless Alfredo Angelo wedding dress and tulle veil that complemented her beautifully and brought a touch of modernism. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, the couple’s ceremony, though appearing entirely Western at first glance, brought in many elements of Paras’s Islamic faith. Elegantly designed by Gracie Lou Events, it spoke to the bride, groom and their relationship. Focused on adding pops of color and character to a soft, neutral backdrop, the dining tables through the room were topped with vases filled with hydrangea and carnation arrangements by Blooms of Hope and postcards from places special to the couple. Then, in the room’s alcoves, photo collages of the couple and their intricate, lily-decorated white wedding cake by Montillio’s Baking Company were among the most breathtaking displays featured. The loveliness only continued on from there, but don’t let us spoil all the surprises… check out the rest darling details below!
