Eric surprised Mallorie with a proposal inspired by The Notebook that would melt the heart of any fan of the famous love story. Eric convinced Mallorie that he was going on a work trip and that she should tag along. Together, the duo made the long journey from Connecticut to South Carolina. But they weren’t going to his boss’s house for a few days like he’d told her. They were headed to The Cypress Gardens, the dreamy spot from the film where Allie and Noah share a paddle boat on a lake filled with swans. There, they recreated the magical date on the water, and Eric asked Mallorie to be his wife. When Jewel Photo met with the couple a few months later to discuss ideas for their engagement photos, she suggested that they keep The Notebook theme. This time they decided to give the movie’s romantic beach scene a go! Meeting at Connecticut’s beautiful Rocky Neck State Park, Jewel Photo captured so many fun shots of Eric and Mallorie playing on the beach in their retro outfits. The shots, although reminiscent of the movie, did a fabulous job communicating the couple’s unique personalities. The rest of the images documented that day, taken in various places around the park, moved away from the theme and focused more on intimate moments between the couple. But, one thing definitely shines through in every image from their engagement shoot — these two have an unforgettable romance between them!
Thank you Jewel Photo for sharing Eric and Mallorie’s beautiful engagement photos!
