Janeen and Jeremy first crossed paths running, an activity for which they share a passion, on top of one of Jacksonville’s downtown bridges. Janeen believed she recognized Jeremy from Match.com, so when she returned home from her run, she sent him a message online. A week later, they met up for a date and have been together ever since. In fact, Jeremy even proposed on top of the very same bridge while they were on a run together, of course.
The bride and groom said their vows at a park near the river in Jacksonville, Florida surrounded by friends, family and stellar photographer Tonya Beaver Photography. Janeen wore a dress from The White Magnolia, Bridal Collection and had Makeup by Paulina Perez to thank for her look. The bridesmaids wore “Loves First Blush” colored dresses by Alfred Angelo and the men dressed in suits from Men’s Warehouse. While the day of the wedding was one of the windiest Jacksonville had seen all year, Janeen and Jeremy enjoyed every moment of their simple, elegant ceremony and reception. At one point during the ceremony, the groomsmen acted as a shield for the couple against the waves from the river! After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed cocktails, a barbecue lunch, dancing and a beautiful cake from For The Love of Cake amidst DIY decorations and bouquets made by Janeen’s friend Stephanie. As they drove away from the reception, Jeremy looked at Janeen and said, “Wow, this day was perfect. It was exactly what we wanted it to be.” Janeen held back tears as she responded, “It was my dear. It was absolutely perfect.”
