Sunflower and baby’s breath bouquets, vintage props galore, darling DIYs… is there anything not to love about Emilie and Jan’s backyard wedding day? We think not. It’s filled to the brim with gorgeous details and so many romantic backdrops! So, we must thank Stefania Bowler Photography for bringing such loveliness to the blog today — she’s definitely outdone herself with these stunning portraits. Emilie and Jan exchanged vows in a beautiful backyard ceremony attended by their nearest and dearest, including those that flew in from Germany just to be there. The couple’s day was all about having a good time and enjoying the moment. The ceremony featured hay bale seats for the guests, rustic signage, a precious vintage-inspired guestbook station, and so many fabulous accents either hand-made or styled by the bride herself. The photos of the duo throughout the day (just look at those Canadian mountain backdrops!) and the details of their reception are equally mesmerizing — burlap runners and chair accents, mason jars filled with baby’s breath, book centerpieces, a trail mix favor bar just to name a few! Oh, and the bride certainly outdid herself with the fun and unique way she up-cycled an old wooden pallet with family photos and doilies. And to think we’ve barely begun to scratch the surface of how down-right amazing their day was! As Stefania Bowler Photography put it, “Everything about this wedding makes you warm and fuzzy inside!” And we couldn’t agree more!
