With a mother like Robin Lathrop, owner of the event planning company By Robin, there was never a question that Lucy’s bat-mitzvah would be anything short of her wildest dreams. 5th avenue digital captured the wonderful decor in superb fashion. At first glance, the white and red color palette with big, red hearts emblazoned on just about everything possible loos reminiscent of Valentine’s Day! However, the theme of Lucy’s coming of age ceremony is actually a clever nod to her name. The “I Love Lucy” theme is unique, but still has the vintage vibe that is so popular and right now. The discerning teen and her super talented mother took just about everything and gave it an “I Love Lucy” twist. The guests were treated to an “I Love Tacos” bar as well as an “I Love Dim Sum” station, and a huge table full of red and white colored candies. The actual ceremony table, covered in a red tablecloth, was accompanied by a squared-off arch, covered in fall-inspired foliage. The bat-mitzvah was a hit, and 5th avenue digital’s photos not only show off Robin’s superior planning skills, but captured the fun and excitement in all the guests, as well as Lucy, herself!
